Warwick Juniors Football Club are very excited to be an approved FA Wildcats Centre which is a Girl's Only Training which will give the girls from reception to year 5 somewhere to play football in a fun and safe environment outside of school hours. The Wildcats slogan is ‘have fun, make friends, play football’. Indeed, we welcome both new and experienced players to get involved.
Warwick Juniors Wildcats Centre Sessions take place every Saturday morning from 9:30 to 10:30am.
It does not matter if you have playing kit or not, all you need is some trainers and the willingness to have a go.
We hope to see you soon girls!
Beining approved as a FA Wildcats Centre will help the next generation of female football players. We are glad that this generation is finally seeing that girls can also play football, it is becoming more and more popular for girls to have the dream of playing for their club and country.
“Players development is key in academies, not only can it help with their skills and developing as a football player, it can have a massive impact on their personal lives too. Players development in a girls only Academy will help them to be more self confident through doing something they love. It will also help the players to become more sociable and improve their communication skills and help them to make friends and most importantly have fun. All these attributes lead towards being a successful player on and off the field. “
Jess Carter started playing football for Warwick Juniors at U8s and continued through to U16s, she then joined Birmingham City Ladies and won the PFA young player of the year award.
